EL PASO WATER: H2O TOGETHER

 
 

El Paso Water needed to communicate that water sustainability would only be successful if it was achieved as a partnership between the utility company and the citizens of El Paso. To illustrate this partnership, we created a drinking water fountain that was powered by someone dancing on a dance floor. Then, we took it to an outdoor mall on a very hot day. Thirsty souls had to partner with a dancer to make the water fountain work. The result was an educational experience for participants and an educational TV spot for the community.

The campaign also included a landing page and an interactive digital banner that was a conceptual extension of the TV spot. Both are shown below.

Using their webcams, users could dance to make the water rise in the water fountain. Once the water level reached the top of the fountain, our animated character was able to drink.
